Class Fee: $75.00 ~ includes all materials

Local Artist Robin Dudley-Howes brings another fun project to Gilding the Lily with her Full of Grace Soldered Reliquary. What is a reliquary? Direct quote from the dictionary~ “A receptacle, such as a coffer or shrine, for keeping or displaying sacred relics.” As the name suggests, Robin will guide you as you create your own reliquary using all new soldering techniques. This is a fantastic project for those who have some soldering experience and want to challenge themselves, as well as for the novice. Robin will not only go over the dynamics of making a miniature “reliquary”, she will also demonstrate how to add a soldered frame over glass, wire basket handle with velvet wrap, as well as collage techniques. Each of you will be sure and leave with a finished project! This is an exclusive project to the Gilding the Lily and will not be taught anywhere else.

Rhinestone chain not included
. Robin does share her soldering equipment for those of you who don't yet have it. However, bringing your own soldering tools will ensure you will finish your work in class.
