Join us in welcoming Oregon Artist Lonnie Jenck as she teaches the process for fusing metal and steel here at Gilding The Lily. Lonnie will share a variety of techniques in metal-smithing, soldering with a mini torch, stamping into metals and more as you create several beautiful charms. You will then turn one of your charms into a one-of-a-kind necklace or bracelet. You're welcome to bring your own chain, but you'll also have the chance to create your own made from wire for those of you feeling inspired! Regardless of which option you choose, this is a great opportunity to learn these creative techniques!

Join artist Holly Stinnett as you step back in time to the early 1800s when the days were long and sewing circles were all the rage. Holly will lead you in creating a darling Jane Austin inspired doll from the Regency Era. You'll learn fun hand stitching and embellishing techniques as you create your own original doll, along with her four legged friend.  Your kit includes everything needed to complete this pair, including doll and dog forms, stuffing, threads, beads, ribbon, flowers and chain. Of course as always, you're welcome to bring a few special embellishments of your own! 

Doll stands approximately 8 inches tall, and her pup is just a wee lad
