Come explore the endless possibilities of Gypsy Junk Jewelry with Somerset Studio Director’s Circle Artist Lisa Guerin. This unique style of jewelry design combines art stamps, shrink film and lots of little bits of junk, of course! In this class you will create one of a kind treasures and discover many delights along the way. Lisa will teach you the tricks and techniques of working with shrink film, create findings and extra pieces, while making lots of gypsy trinkets. You will design and create your own jewelry pieces. Finally everyone will create a display board for their gypsy junk jewelry. Students are encouraged to bring any kind of jewelry bits, single earrings, broken pieces, charms, buttons, and other junk to incorporate into their designs.

VersaCraft Black Pigment Ink Pad
ScissorsExacto Knife
Cutting Mat
Color Chalks (Lisa will bring some to share)
Hole Punch for standard eyelets (3/16)
Heat Gun and Mat (If you have them, but Lisa will bring some to share)
Jewelry Pliers
Glue / Adhesive for paper
